How Arka Terminal Supports Funding Pips' Rules

Four tools in the terminal map directly to the 2 Step Standard limits.

Daily loss

Each Trade Sized Against the Daily Floor

Funding Pips sets each day's floor from the higher of the opening balance or equity. The order window sizes every trade from the balance at risk.

Risk-based sizing
The stop is set at the recent average true range, the target at twice that distance, and the volume follows from 1% of the balance at risk.
Pre-trade Check
Before submission, the check states the loss at the stop in money and as a share of equity, and flags any trade above 1%.
Higher baseline
When opening equity exceeds the balance, equity is the baseline: 5% of $107,000 allows a loss of $5,350 that day.

Maximum loss

One View of Every Open Position

The 10% floor applies to equity at all times, floating losses included. The terminal shows the combined effect of every position on a symbol.

Group stop line
One line sets the stop or target for every position on a symbol and shows what they add up to at that price.
Close by kind
Close buys, sells, winners, losers or all positions, with the floating P&L and share of the balance shown first.
Net exposure
The positions panel nets exposure by symbol across the account.

News rule

Releases Flagged Before the Master Window

On Master accounts, Funding Pips deducts profit from trades within 5 minutes of high-impact news. The terminal flags major releases 15 minutes ahead.

Release alerts
A notice 15 minutes before a release rated four stars or above on a symbol with open positions, and again once it is out.
Releases on the chart
Releases rated three stars and above sit on the time axis with previous, forecast and actual figures.
AI previews
Releases rated four stars and above carry an AI preview before and an AI reading after.

Reward cycles

Performance Measured by Day and Session

Trading Profile and Daily Review build a record from the account itself, ready for each reward cycle.

Daily P&L
Daily Review shows net P&L for each of the last seven days, with the day's best and worst trade.
Weekly rhythm
Trading Profile shows net P&L for each of the past eight weeks, by session and by symbol.
Risk flags
A single loss of three times the average loss, or four consecutive losses, is flagged.

Arka Terminal does not read Funding Pips' limits or close positions on the trader's behalf. These tools make risk visible before and during each trade; compliance with Funding Pips' rules remains the trader's responsibility.

Trading Conduct Rules

Restrictions beyond the loss limits, as Funding Pips states them.

News trading

No restriction during evaluation. On Master accounts, profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of high-impact news or speeches is deducted.

Deliberate news trading

Purposely trading news is prohibited in every phase and leads to account closure.

Overnight and weekend holding

Always permitted during evaluation. On Master accounts, permitted with the Swing add-on.

Inactivity

An account with no completed trade for 30 consecutive days is breached. A trade counts only once it is fully closed.

Rules checked on 6 November 2026 against the Funding Pips help centre. Prop firms revise their rules; confirm the current terms on the Funding Pips site before trading. ArkaTrading is independent and is not affiliated with Funding Pips or MetaQuotes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Arka Terminal be used with a Funding Pips account?

Yes, with a Funding Pips MT5 account. Funding Pips does not offer MT4, and cTrader and Match-Trader accounts cannot be connected.

Does Arka Terminal track the Funding Pips daily loss limit?

Not automatically, as it does not read Funding Pips' limits. Risk-based sizing, the Pre-trade Check and the positions panel show the loss at stake on each trade and across the account.

How is the Funding Pips daily loss calculated?

At the start of each trading day the higher of balance and equity becomes the baseline. Equity may not fall more than 5%, or 3% with the add-on, below it during the day. The limit resets at 00:00 platform time.

Is news trading allowed at Funding Pips?

During evaluation there is no news restriction. On Master accounts, profit from trades within 5 minutes of high-impact news or speeches is deducted, and deliberate news trading is prohibited in every phase.

Can US residents use Arka Terminal with Funding Pips?

No. Funding Pips does not offer MT5 in the United States, and Arka Terminal connects to MetaTrader accounts only.
