How Arka Terminal Supports Alpha Capital's Rules
Four tools in the terminal map directly to the Alpha Pro limits.
Daily loss
Each Trade Sized Against the Day's Starting Balance
On Pro 8%, the daily allowance is 4% of the balance at 00:00 broker time. The order window opens with 1% of the balance at risk, a quarter of that allowance.
- Risk-based sizing
- The stop is set at the recent average true range, the target at twice that distance, and the volume follows from 1% of the balance at risk.
- Pre-trade Check
- Before submission, the check states the loss at the stop in money and as a share of equity, and flags any trade above 1%.
- Carried losses
- A floating loss carried into the day reduces the allowance: with a $1,000 open loss on $100,000, $3,000 remains.
Max risk rule
Open Loss per Asset in One View
On qualified accounts purchased after 21 July 2026, open loss on one asset may not exceed 2% on accounts of $50,000 and above. The terminal shows every position on a symbol as one total.
- Group stop line
- One line sets the stop or target for every position on a symbol and shows what they add up to at that price.
- Close by kind
- Close buys, sells, winners, losers or all positions, with the floating P&L and share of the balance shown first.
- Net exposure
- The positions panel nets exposure by symbol across the account.
News rule
Releases Flagged Before the Qualified Window
Qualified accounts may not open or close positions within 5 minutes of a targeted release. The terminal flags major releases 15 minutes ahead.
- Release alerts
- A notice 15 minutes before a release rated four stars or above on a symbol with open positions, and again once it is out.
- Releases on the chart
- Releases rated three stars and above sit on the time axis with previous, forecast and actual figures.
- AI previews
- Releases rated four stars and above carry an AI preview before and an AI reading after.
Holding time
Holding Times on Every Trade
At least half of profit must come from trades held longer than 2 minutes. The journal records each closed trade with its entry, exit and holding time.
- Trades on the chart
- Entries, exits and the path between them are drawn on the bars where they occurred.
- Two-way lookup
- Select a trade on the chart to find it in History, or a row in History to move the chart to it.
- Trade statistics
- Win rate, profit factor and the equity curve in the History panel, with CSV export.
Arka Terminal does not read Alpha Capital's limits or close positions on the trader's behalf. These tools make risk visible before and during each trade; compliance with Alpha Capital's rules remains the trader's responsibility.
Trading Conduct Rules
Restrictions beyond the loss limits, as Alpha Capital states them.
News trading
Unrestricted during evaluation. Qualified accounts may not open or close positions on targeted instruments within 5 minutes either side of a release, stop and target fills included.
Weekend holding
Permitted in Pro Phase 1 and Phase 2. Not permitted on qualified Pro accounts, where profit from such trades is removed.
Expert Advisors
Permitted on MT5 only, limited to risk-management and trade-assistance tools with prior approval. Fully automated EAs are not permitted.
Lot limits
Qualified accounts are capped at 40 lots on $100,000, 80 on $200,000 and 120 on $300,000. Evaluations carry no lot limit.
Holding time
At least half of total profit must come from trades held longer than 2 minutes.
Inactivity
30 consecutive days without activity closes the account permanently.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Arka Terminal be used with an Alpha Capital account?
Yes, with an Alpha Capital MT5 account. Alpha Capital does not offer MT4, and cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker accounts cannot be connected.
Does Arka Terminal track the Alpha Capital daily loss limit?
Not automatically, as it does not read Alpha Capital's limits. Risk-based sizing, the Pre-trade Check and the positions panel show the loss at stake on each trade and across the account.
How is the Alpha Pro daily loss calculated?
On Pro 8% and Pro 10%, as 4% or 5% of the balance at 00:00 broker time. Open equity carried from the previous day is excluded from the baseline, and equity must remain above the floor at all times.
Is news trading allowed at Alpha Capital?
During evaluation, yes. Qualified accounts may not open or close positions on targeted instruments within 5 minutes either side of a release, and profit from such trades is not eligible for a performance fee.
Can US residents use Arka Terminal with Alpha Capital?
No. Alpha Capital offers US residents cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker only, and Arka Terminal connects to MetaTrader accounts only.
