On 2 Step GOAT and 1 Step, daily loss is a percentage of the higher of balance or equity at 5:00 PM EST. A profitable day requires at least 0.5% of initial balance, net of fees. A dash means the rule is not covered in this summary. Source: 2 Step GOAT, Goat Funded Trader help centre

How Arka Terminal Supports Goat Funded Trader's Rules
Four tools in the terminal map directly to the 2 Step GOAT limits.
Daily loss
Each Trade Sized Against the 4% Floor
Goat Funded Trader sets each day's floor 4% below the higher of balance or equity at 5:00 PM EST. The order window opens with 1% of the balance at risk.
- Risk-based sizing
- The stop is set at the recent average true range, the target at twice that distance, and the volume follows from 1% of the balance at risk.
- Pre-trade Check
- Before submission, the check states the loss at the stop in money and as a share of equity, and flags any trade above 1%.
- Higher baseline
- A $107,000 balance at 5:00 PM EST places the next day's floor at $102,720.
Goat Guard
Combined Floating Loss in One View
On funded accounts, Goat Guard acts when combined floating loss reaches 2% of initial size. The terminal shows every position on a symbol as one total, with floating P&L first.
- Group stop line
- One line sets the stop or target for every position on a symbol and shows what they add up to at that price.
- Close by kind
- Close buys, sells, winners, losers or all positions, with the floating P&L and share of the balance shown first.
- Net exposure
- The positions panel nets exposure by symbol across the account.
News profit cap
Releases Flagged Before the 5-Minute Window
Within 5 minutes of a high-impact release, profit per trade is capped at 1% of initial balance. The terminal flags major releases 15 minutes ahead.
- Release alerts
- A notice 15 minutes before a release rated four stars or above on a symbol with open positions, and again once it is out.
- Releases on the chart
- Releases rated three stars and above sit on the time axis with previous, forecast and actual figures.
- AI previews
- Releases rated four stars and above carry an AI preview before and an AI reading after.
Holding time
Holding Times on Every Trade
Funded accounts remove profit from trades held under 60 seconds. The journal records each closed trade with its entry, exit and holding time.
- Trades on the chart
- Entries, exits and the path between them are drawn on the bars where they occurred.
- Two-way lookup
- Select a trade on the chart to find it in History, or a row in History to move the chart to it.
- Trade statistics
- Win rate, profit factor and the equity curve in the History panel, with CSV export.
Arka Terminal does not read Goat Funded Trader's limits or close positions on the trader's behalf. These tools make risk visible before and during each trade; compliance with Goat Funded Trader's rules remains the trader's responsibility.
Trading Conduct Rules
Restrictions beyond the loss limits, as Goat Funded Trader states them.
News trading
Permitted. Within 5 minutes of a high-impact release, profit is capped at 1% of initial balance per trade; the excess is removed without a breach.
Weekend holding
Permitted. On funded accounts, profit from trades opened in the last three market hours on Friday and closed in the first three on Monday is removed.
Expert Advisors
Only EAs developed by the trader are permitted. Third-party EAs are not permitted at any stage.
Copy trading
From 12 October 2026, permitted only through the GOAT Trade Copier and only between the trader's own accounts.
Minimum holding time
On funded accounts, profit from trades held under 60 seconds is removed, for purchases from 6 October 2026.
Inactivity
No trade for 30 consecutive days breaches the account.
Rules checked on 7 November 2026 against the Goat Funded Trader help centre. Prop firms revise their rules; confirm the current terms on the Goat Funded Trader site before trading. ArkaTrading is independent and is not affiliated with Goat Funded Trader or MetaQuotes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Arka Terminal be used with a Goat Funded Trader account?
Yes, with a Goat Funded Trader MT5 account. Goat Funded Trader does not offer MT4, and cTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trader and Volumetrica accounts cannot be connected.
Does Arka Terminal track the Goat Funded Trader daily loss limit?
Not automatically, as it does not read Goat Funded Trader's limits. Risk-based sizing, the Pre-trade Check and the positions panel show the loss at stake on each trade and across the account.
How is the Goat Funded Trader daily loss calculated?
At 5:00 PM EST the higher of balance or equity becomes the baseline, and the floor is set 4% below it on 2 Step GOAT. Balance and equity must stay above that floor for the trading day.
Is news trading allowed at Goat Funded Trader?
Yes. Within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact release, profit is capped at 1% of initial balance per trade. The excess is removed and the account is not breached.
Can US residents use Arka Terminal with Goat Funded Trader?
No. MT5 is not available to clients in the United States, and Arka Terminal connects to MetaTrader accounts only.
